UD Almería, along with Málaga CF, UD Las Palmas and CD Castellón, are fighting for the common dream of accompanying R. Racing Club and RC Deportivo to the top tier of professional football in Spain. The castellonenses are on a roll, with two consecutive victories against rivals who were fighting for survival and qualifying among the top six, such as SD Huesca and SD Eibar, respectively. On the other hand, the almerienses are the second most prolific team (81), and have the top scorer in the competition, Sergio Arribas, with 25 goals. On Sunday, also at 21:00h, the second match of the weekend: Las Palmas-Málaga, a duel between the fifth and fourth classified. The canaries are the ones who have registered the fewest defeats, along with Dépor (9). In front, the Andalusian team, with a great streak of results, with four wins and a draw in the last five matches, closing the regular season with very good note. Las Palmas has a course without dispute and Almería accumulates two. Málaga seeks to return after eight years, while Castellón wants to ascend after 35 seasons without being among the 20 best.
